Sandy Skoglund has a unique style that I doubt you have ever seen before. She creates elaborate sets that take months to complete, all for a few photographs. I have never seen work like this before. Some of her work can be found at the San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art which I plan to attend one of these days.

This weekend I attended a Fashion Film Festival in La Jolla as a member of the Press. I joined a large group of photographers and fashion designers to capture the Red Carpet. The event was a great experience for me and I was able to take some fantastic shots.

Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze has gone to places I would love to go. His passion came from his arrival in Hong Kong. Stunned by its architectural “race to the sky”, he felt the need to use his camera to share his feelings about the city. The geometry of the urban environment and the vivid lives it shelters are the aspects of Hong Kong that inspire him most.

Sebastian Opitz is awesome at city scapes. Maybe someday I will have an awesome fish eye lens and perfect long exposures at night.
